Associazione del Museo della Gente dell’Appennino Pistoiese

Our association was born around the village of Rivoreta and is characterized by the strong union with the traditions of the past and the objects that represented everyday life that are jealously guarded in the museum premises. The highest expression of the soul of Rivoreta is represented by the festival of the “Living Museum”, a day that has been repeated for decades now at the end of July, during which the town dresses as in the past and ancient crafts fill every corner of the village. Our association also includes the folkloristic group “Gigetto del Bicchiere” which brings dances and songs typical of our areas to squares throughout Italy.
