Walk from Cutigliano through the renowned promenade of San Vito we arrive in Vizzaneta, Lizzano (village of murals), Pratale, Podilago and again we return to the promenade of San Vito with return to Cutigliano. This “historic” promenade has recently been rediscovered, which the Marquis Carega di Muricce had already talked about in 1887 in his book “A summer in Cutigliano” in 1887.

From Cutigliano we arrive after about 2 km at the square of San Vito. A few meters before arriving at the square, turn left (sign indicating Oratorio di Sant’Anna) and take the path called “cresta dell’Omo” towards Mount Cuccola. Halfway up the hillside, after the first stretch of about a hundred meters, we turn right following the signs for Sant’Anna.

Proceeding on the Vizzaneta side. Paying attention in some slightly steep points, we cross the side of the mountain leading to the ford of the Volata stream, generally in the summer with little water. From here, going slightly up the road, we find ourselves in front of the oratory of Sant’Anna. We continue our walk towards Vizzaneta, passing through the silence of the valley and admiring the distant mountains that have opened up in front of our eyes. We cross the village of Lizzano, Pratale, which with its unique church is definitely worth seeing.

We arrive in Podilago where we cross the walkway and turning right we go up and passing under a beautiful restored mill we continue for just 2 km where we find ourselves again in the promenade of San Vito di Cutigliano. This beautiful route can be a variant or rather a continuation of the already beautiful walk of San Vito.
